“Inventive, romantic, and downright delightful, The Potion Diaries cast its spell on me from page one, and is the most fun I’ve had reading in ages! Reminiscent of Howl’s Moving Castle, readers will instantly wish they lived in the magical, modern world of Nova and fall in love (no potion required!) with the down-to-earth, resourceful, and relatable Samantha. Do not miss out on this book–you’re in for a real treat!” – Sarah J. Maas, New York Times bestselling author of the THRONE OF GLASS series

When the Princess of Nova accidentally poisons herself with a love potion meant for her crush, she falls crown-over-heels in love with her own reflection. Oops. A nationwide hunt is called to find the cure, with competitors travelling the world for the rarest ingredients, deep in magical forests and frozen tundras, facing death at every turn.

Enter Samantha Kemi – an ordinary girl with an extraordinary talent. Sam’s family were once the most respected alchemists in the kingdom, but they’ve fallen on hard times, and winning the hunt would save their reputation. But can Sam really compete with the dazzling powers of the ZoroAster megapharma company? Just how close is Sam willing to get to Zain Aster, her dashing former classmate and enemy, in the meantime?

And just to add to the pressure, this quest is ALL OVER social media. And the world news.

No big deal, then.

Warrior. Traitor. Saviour.

Fifteen-year-old Raim lives in a world where you tie a knot for every promise that you make. Break that promise and you are scarred for life, and cast out into the desert.

Raim has worn a simple knot around his wrist for as long as he can remember. No one knows where it came from, and which promise of his it symbolises, but he barely thinks about it at all – not since becoming the most promising young fighter ever to train for the elite Yun guard. But on the most important day of his life, when he binds his life to his best friend (and future khan) Khareh, the string bursts into flames and sears a dark mark into his skin.

Scarred now as an oath-breaker, Raim has two options: run, or be killed.

A viewpoint character with powers. Sounds like the kind of story I would enjoy. Looking forward to 2013.

Amy the oath breakers shadow and the shadow’s curse was the best book I’ve ever read. the oath breakers shadow is a M.Y.R.C.A book so I read it and it was absolutely amazing, in fact it was so good that I had to read and to find out what happened to Raim, and Wadi. The shadows curse wasn’t in our school library so I went to the public library, and I swear that was the best book and my most favorite book ever.

        Thank you so much Kristina!

i usually hate fantasy as a genere overall, but this book was amazing. The shadows curse was even better than the first. There were multiple characters all equally great. Each one had its own strenght and flaws. The plot stayed consistant throughout the whole book and both books were well thought out.
I hope the oathbreakers shadow wins for white pine 2015.

Hi Malea, I’m hoping it will be available in the US eventually, but for now it’s only published in the UK and Canada. You can buy from the book depository in the UK, which offers free international shipping (the link is in the sidebar). I’m so glad it has piqued your interest!
