“Inventive, romantic, and downright delightful, The Potion Diaries cast its spell on me from page one, and is the most fun I’ve had reading in ages! Reminiscent of Howl’s Moving Castle, readers will instantly wish they lived in the magical, modern world of Nova and fall in love (no potion required!) with the down-to-earth, resourceful, and relatable Samantha. Do not miss out on this book–you’re in for a real treat!” – Sarah J. Maas, New York Times bestselling author of the THRONE OF GLASS series

When the Princess of Nova accidentally poisons herself with a love potion meant for her crush, she falls crown-over-heels in love with her own reflection. Oops. A nationwide hunt is called to find the cure, with competitors travelling the world for the rarest ingredients, deep in magical forests and frozen tundras, facing death at every turn.

Enter Samantha Kemi – an ordinary girl with an extraordinary talent. Sam’s family were once the most respected alchemists in the kingdom, but they’ve fallen on hard times, and winning the hunt would save their reputation. But can Sam really compete with the dazzling powers of the ZoroAster megapharma company? Just how close is Sam willing to get to Zain Aster, her dashing former classmate and enemy, in the meantime?

And just to add to the pressure, this quest is ALL OVER social media. And the world news.

No big deal, then.

I absolutley LOVED this book. I couldn’t put it down. Sami is such a cool character. I was wondering what you thought she would look like as a real person. Is there a celebrity that looks a bit like her?

I really enjoyed this book and have passed recommendations on to other people and even started to do an author study on Amy.i would definitely recommend it to people aged 10 and upwards, and people who love magical concepts of books but as well as people who like books with an adventure and hidden meaning with the story.
I loved the part when Sam and Zain were stuck on the mountain together because it made me sit on the edge of my seat and when Sam and Anita fell out I didn’t know if they were going to become friends again.
but i really don’t like Emilia Thoth.
